These lovely non-leather boots were picked up on the Kinkerstraat on my birthday! I heart them already!
As for the age-old fashion rule of not wearing white shoes after labor day: Pfffft!

This blog is run by an American vegan living in Amsterdam with her husband, two dogs, and flatmate. It's a full apartment, and she is the only vegan there. She has a vegan shoe and bag fetish, and loves to cook (and eat).
'Fun Side of Veganism' was started in response to those incredulous looks I receive when I admit that I don't eat meat, dairy, eggs, wear leather, suede, etc. I promise I can still live a meaningful, fashionable, tasty existence without killing any animals for it!
And if you're wondering, the 'opposite' side of Veganism- the Not So Fun Side- would be the activism against battery cages, slaughter houses, puppy mills, hunting, whaling, etc. That side involves photos and videos that would break your heart.
Both sides are necessary for a fulfilling vegan lifestyle.
